Electric Propulsion Subsystem Engineer

We are looking for an Electric Propulsion Subsystem Engineer on behalf of and in support to our client at their location in Fino Mornasco, Italy. Success criteria: The successful candidate will be employed by ATG Europe (or one of its subsidiaries). Furthermore, upon selection, they will be subject to a general security screening performed by an external provider (further information will be provided at interview stage). Responsibilities Provide technical expertise and consultancy in propulsion to project teams responsible for spacecraft development. Enhance support for propulsion subsystem activities utilizing Hall thruster-based propulsion technology and its critical components. Perform propulsion sub-system level analysis to provide inputs to system budgets. Prepare technical documentation to support the propulsion subsystem development, testing, and the associated project review. Provide support in developing propulsion sub-system and equipment, including design and testing. Provide support for supplier management, including requirements management, progress monitoring, and supporting project-related reviews. Identify critical development challenges and assist in their resolution. Regularly report to the Head of Propulsion and Lead System Engineer. Qualifications Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering or Plasma Physics. A PhD in a related field is a strong asset. At least 2 years of relevant experience.
