1. Role Overview Mercor is seeking bilingual English–Italian language experts to contribute to a translation quality review initiative with a leading AI research partner. Experts will evaluate AI-generated Italian content, ensuring translations are both accurate and reflect native fluency as spoken in Italy. This short-term, flexible project offers the opportunity to guide linguistic accuracy in cutting-edge AI systems.2. Key ResponsibilitiesReview and assess Italian translations for accuracy, fluency, and contextual relevanceIdentify and correct unnatural phrasing, tone issues, and mistranslationsEnsure all content aligns with how Italian is commonly used in ItalyProvide constructive feedback on language quality and localization accuracyMaintain high reading speed and strong attention to linguistic detail3. Ideal QualificationsNative or near-native fluency in both Italian and EnglishDeep familiarity with regional language usage in Italy1+ year of experience in translation, localization, or language reviewStrong analytical and written communication skillsHigh attention to detail and fast reading comprehension4.
