For projects related to Building Service, Industrial or Public Utilities applications, or involving key customers, he/she works closely with Sales coordinating the activities of internal departments (Product Management, R&D, Operations) to deliver the requested documentation. This role is critical to ensuring customer satisfaction and quick field problem solving.ResponsibilitiesProvide customers with technical support for selection of standard/customized products, showing an extensive knowledge of our product portfolio and possible applicationsWork together with Sales to understand customer needs and applications, and provide the best profitable product solutions (standard or customized)Work with Engineering, Purchasing, Marketing, Master Planning and Operations to define the best technical solution for the customerQuote customized/standard products for single projects or develop offers for tendersCooperate with the training department and sales giving support to customers (customer visit, witness test)Cooperate with Sales Assistants to solve issues about customer product needContribute with new ideas/suggestions to continuous improvementProvide technical solution to OEM and large/international key accounts in the EMEA regionSupport OEM KAMs of Xylem Commercial team (Sales)Provide feedback to product management team on highly requested special featuresAttend exhibitionsVisit customers on demand for technical support to commercial team (Sales)Work closely with Sales in specific Industrial and/or Public Utilities projectsCollaborate in project managementCross-boundary collaborationOrganization, prioritization and planningEffective communication, open mind and positive approachCustomer orientationInspiring accountabilityProblem solvingConflict managementRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Mechatronic or Mechanical EngineeringGood spoken and written English and Italian is mandatoryFrench spoken and written will be considered a plusPreferred Qualifications1 or 2 years of experience in a related field and positionExperience in the Customer Service area (Technical Support, After Sales, Pre-Sales) is a plusExperience in dealing with complex organization and processes (ability to work across boundaries) is a plusContractPermanent, full-timeBenefitsCompany canteen and company bonusCompany OverviewOur products impact public utilities, industrial sectors, residential areas, and commercial buildings.
