What You’ll Do Technology strategy and roadmap definition aligned with business ambition and value creation goals Rapid diagnostic and deep‑dive assessments to identify technology performance gaps and root causes Platform modernization, including legacy tech‑debt assessment, re‑platforming strategy, and program rescue Business process modernization leveraging innovative technologies (e.g., automation, AI agents) to streamline operations Operating model design and transformation to enable scalable, product‑oriented delivery Technology cost optimization and transparency through benchmarking and spend analysis Technology due diligence, carve‑out, and post‑merger integration planning and execution Complex program assurance and turnaround for high‑stakes digital transformations This description is not designed to encompass a comprehensive listing of required activities, duties, or responsibilities. What You’ll Need Master’s degree in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) Holding an MBA is considered a plus 4 to 7 years of relevant professional experience in IT consulting or IT operations Preferably a mix of consulting and industry experience, with the ability to deliver small projects and/or manage multiple workstreams of larger projects IT knowledge and practical experience within Digital, Technology or IT of one or more of the following areas: IT software delivery, IT infrastructure and operations, solutions architecture, IT governance (audit, risk, compliance, security) and/or IT project management Experience implementing projects in a variety of environments, using different methodologies and frameworks Demonstrated personal interest in Technology and Digital, staying current on the latest trends and their potential industry impact Passion for driving IT effectiveness and enabling clients to achieve their business objectives Confidence collaborating with clients and stakeholders, with the ability to build relationships, influence, and advise key decision makers Excellent communication and presentation capabilities, with the ability to communicate effectively at CXO and senior levels Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Italian Outstanding analytical and critical thinking skills, along with strong financial literacy Knowledge or experience in M&A situations an advantage Ability and willingness to travel across EMEA Willingness to work outside normal business hours, especially when unique projects/needs arise Ability to work full time in an office and remote environment; physically able to sit/stand at a computer and work in front of a computer screen for significant portions of the workday Must become familiar with, promote, and abide by AlixPartners’ Core Values as defined by the Code of Conduct, fostering an inclusive environment with people at all levels of an organization The firm offers market‑leading benefits that provide flexible options to support employee needs, including health benefits, time‑off policies, and financial/retirement benefits that offer income protection and support long‑term planning.
