By embracing diversity, we believe science can achieve its fullest potential.THE ROLEYou will be working in a multicultural and multi‑disciplinary group, where junior and senior scientists collaborate, each with their expertise, to carry out a scientific activity with a shared research goal.The scope of work focuses on the application of learning‑based methodologies to robotics and mechatronics. This includes optimization problems, data analysis and computer vision.Within the research team, your main responsibilities will be:Develop mechatronics systems.Develop industrial robotic cells.ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTSCandidates should have a PhD (or be very close to submitting) in one of the following areas: Mechatronics, Robotics, Computer Science, Control, etc.Strong proficiency in the following programming languages/OS is recommended: C++, Python, ROS and Linux.Expertise in working with real robot systems and conducting research on physical hardware platforms.High quality publications record (peer reviewed journals and conferences) and conference presentations.Ability and willingness to incorporate novel ideas and approaches into the projects.Ability to work effectively as part of a inter‑disciplinary and regionally dispersed research team including students, plus the motivation and discipline to carry out autonomous research with limited supervision.Strong communication and English language skills (written and spoken).ADDITIONAL SKILLSExperience in working with real robot systems.Ability to work in a challenging and international environment.Capacity to work autonomously and collaboratively in a highly interdisciplinary environment.Possess Analytical Reasoning skills and a growth mindset.COMPENSATION PACKAGEA yearly gross salary ranging between 38,000€ and 42,000€, which may include a bonus option depending on your role and contract.Private health care coverage depending on your role and contract.Candidates from abroad or Italian citizens who have carried scientific research activity permanently abroad and meet specific requirements may be entitled to a deduction from taxable income of up to 90% from 6 to 13 years.This open position is financed by ROBOPAC project, INAIL CUP (J53C within RIAP project), RENEE (within EU project GA. ) and ACEA (within Joint Lab projects)Please submit your application using the online form and including a detailed CV, university transcripts, cover letter, and contact details of 2 references.Application’s deadline: 30th January 2026#J-18808-Ljbffr
