System & Software Engineer – Avionic Systems (Navigation & FMS)Join to apply for the System & Software Engineer – Avionic Systems (Navigation & FMS) role at TXT GROUP TXT e-Tech Srl, part of TXT GroupTXT e-Tech Srl, part of TXT Group, is looking for two professionals with solid experience in System Engineering and Software Engineering applied to complex avionic systems, with a focus on Navigation Systems (TACAN, DME, VOR, etc.) and Flight Management System (FMS). The selected professionals will join an integrated team working in close collaboration with a leading aerospace customer, contributing to a strategic, high-profile program. Full on-site presence at the customer’s premises is required. Main responsibilitiesAnalysis, specification, design, and integration of Navigation and FMS components Support to requirements definition and traceability using DOORS or equivalent tools Contribution to certification processes in compliance with DO-178C, ARP4754A, DO-254 Preparation of technical documentation in accordance with regulatory and customer standards Participation in design reviews, technical meetings, and direct customer interface Application of MBSE methodologies using tools such as CATIA Magic / Cameo Systems Modeler (SysML) Mandatory requirementsMaster’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related STEM disciplines 2+ years of experience in avionic systems development, with a focus on Navigation and FMS Strong knowledge of system engineering processes and safety-critical software development Familiarity with avionic standards: DO-178C, DO-254, ARINC 424, ARINC 661, ARP4754A Knowledge of communication protocols: ARINC 429, MIL-STD-1553, AFDX Experience with tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, DOORS, Git, Jira, version control systems Excellent command of technical English, both written and spoken Ability to work autonomously, proactive attitude, and strong teamwork orientation Preferred requirementsExperience in flight simulation environments or integration on real aircraft Software development skills in Ada, C/C++, Python SysML modeling architectural design and analysis Soft skillsStrong analytical mindset and problem-solving orientation Proactivity, flexibility, and autonomy Clear and effective communication skills Collaborative attitude in dynamic and structured environments Ability to manage deadlines and priorities in complex programs Why join TXT GroupOpportunity to join a fast-growing group in a young and international environment Permanent contract with salary aligned to experience Continuous training on innovative technologies and methodologies Meal vouchers and additional corporate benefits Chance to contribute to cutting-edge aerospace programs Seniority levelMid-Senior level Employment typeFull-time Job functionEngineering and Information Technology IndustriesIT Services and IT Consulting Position open to all applicants regardless of gender, in accordance with Legislative Decree 198/2006.
