System & Software Engineer – Avionic Systems (Navigation & FMS) Join to apply for the System & Software Engineer – Avionic Systems (Navigation & FMS) role at TXT GROUPTXT e-Tech Srl, part of TXT Group TXT e-Tech Srl, part of TXT Group, is looking for two professionals with solid experience in System Engineering and Software Engineering applied to complex avionic systems, with a focus on Navigation Systems (TACAN, DME, VOR, etc.) and Flight Management System (FMS).The selected professionals will join an integrated team working in close collaboration with a leading aerospace customer, contributing to a strategic, high-profile program. Full on-site presence at the customer’s premises is required.Main responsibilities Analysis, specification, design, and integration of Navigation and FMS componentsSupport to requirements definition and traceability using DOORS or equivalent toolsContribution to certification processes in compliance with DO-178C, ARP4754A, DO-254Preparation of technical documentation in accordance with regulatory and customer standardsParticipation in design reviews, technical meetings, and direct customer interfaceApplication of MBSE methodologies using tools such as CATIA Magic / Cameo Systems Modeler (SysML)Mandatory requirements Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related STEM disciplines2+ years of experience in avionic systems development, with a focus on Navigation and FMSStrong knowledge of system engineering processes and safety-critical software developmentFamiliarity with avionic standards: DO-178C, DO-254, ARINC 424, ARINC 661, ARP4754AKnowledge of communication protocols: ARINC 429, MIL-STD-1553, AFDXExperience with tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, DOORS, Git, Jira, version control systemsExcellent command of technical English, both written and spokenAbility to work autonomously, proactive attitude, and strong teamwork orientationPreferred requirements Experience in flight simulation environments or integration on real aircraftSoftware development skills in Ada, C/C++, PythonSysML modeling architectural design and analysisSoft skills Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving orientationProactivity, flexibility, and autonomyClear and effective communication skillsCollaborative attitude in dynamic and structured environmentsAbility to manage deadlines and priorities in complex programsWhy join TXT Group Opportunity to join a fast-growing group in a young and international environmentPermanent contract with salary aligned to experienceContinuous training on innovative technologies and methodologiesMeal vouchers and additional corporate benefitsChance to contribute to cutting-edge aerospace programsSeniority level Mid-Senior levelEmployment type Full-timeJob function Engineering and Information TechnologyIndustries IT Services and IT ConsultingPosition open to all applicants regardless of gender, in accordance with Legislative Decree 198/2006.
