As a Senior Back‑End Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining robust, scalable, and secure server‑side applications. You will collaborate closely with front‑end developers, DevOps engineers, and product stakeholders to implement efficient APIs and business logic. Responsibilities Write clean, maintainable, and well‑tested code, optimizing application performance. Manage the full lifecycle of new epics, from technical design to customer delivery. Design and implement scalable, high‑performance backend features. Write and maintain clear technical documentation and architecture decisions. Analyze and troubleshoot system performance issues. Ship production updates daily with minimal risk. Provide technical leadership and support across engineering teams. Conduct code reviews to uphold engineering standards and code quality. Qualifications Delivers consistent, high‑quality results in modern software engineering. Brings a user‑centered mindset and works comfortably in Agile teams. Uses AI‑powered coding tools as part of my daily workflow. Keeps up with emerging technologies, patterns, and best practices. Communicates effectively with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders. At least 4 years of experience in cloud‑native backend development. Strong expertise in Golang and Node.js; bonus points for Rust experience. Hands‑on experience deploying services to Kubernetes, with full CI / CD ownership using GitHub. Proven skills with Postgres and MongoDB. Familiarity with Kafka and distributed messaging architectures. Bonus experience with ClickHouse and Iceberg‑based data lakes. Good knowledge of observability, monitoring, and system health metrics. Complete professional fluency in English.
