Tax Professional – Tax Insurance BrokerMarsh is looking for a Tax Professional to join our Tax and Contingent Risk Practice within the Private Equity and M&A (PEMA) team as Tax Insurance Broker based in Milan.This position is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to all facets of the M&A Insurance industry as the business enters an exciting period of exponential growth. It is ideal for commercially minded M&A professionals looking to leverage their expertise in an entrepreneurial and collaborative environment.ResponsibilitiesStructure and place Tax Insurance Policies and manage direct negotiations with the Transactional Risk Insurance market, including handling the entire underwriting process for Italian deals.Interact with Private Equity Firms and Corporations, C‑Suite members (CEO, COO, CFO), Law Firms, Investment Banks and other M&A participants to source and advance deals.Build relationships with colleagues in Italy and abroad to serve as a strategic deal advisor to clients and support the growth of the M&A insurance business.RequirementsMaster of Laws, Economics or Business Administration and Law.Tax lawyer or chartered accountant with experience in corporate and individual tax issues, preferably with exposure to M&A transactions.Up to 7 years of previous working experience; no prior insurance experience required, but a genuine motivation to develop a career in insurance is essential.Fluent written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus.Ability to operate effectively in a high‑pressure, multi‑tasking environment.Strong teamwork skills and a high sense of responsibility.Positive attitude, attention to detail and high persuasiveness.International experience will be considered a plus.What You Can ExpectA leading company with a strong brand and impressive results.An international work environment with opportunities to work on cross‑border deals in multiple industries.Flexibility and exposure to clients.Attractive benefits coverage, outstanding learning programmes, mentoring opportunities and interaction with industry groups and client organisations.Marsh, a business of Marsh McLennan (NYSE: MMC), is the world’s top insurance broker and risk advisor.
