Thanks to our diversity of skills, talents and cultures, our customers (governments, institutions, space agencies, telecommunications operators), therefore have Space to Connect, Secure & Defend, Observe & Protect, Explore, Travel & Navigate.We’re hiring a E2E System Engineer, within the Observation system department/E2E System Design and Verification unit, he/she has to support the E2E System Engineering activities.Task descriptionDeveloping scientific algorithms in the fields of SAR remote sensing, image processing and mission analysisEngineering Requirements Analysis and flow-down activityDeveloping of mathematical models and budgets for optical payload performanceMission Analysis for Satellites Optical SystemsCalibration activities for already operative SAR SystemsKnowledge of System physical and functional architecture of satellite systemsEnd-to-End Verification approach definition and executionWriting technical documents, project reportsPersonal requirementsThe ideal candidate has to be educated to Engineering master degree, preferentially with a Ph.D. In addition, a distinctly propensity to team working is required, jointly with strong analytical and technical skills, problem solving capability, solid knowledge of statistical methods for temporal and spatial analysis of scientific data.
