Overview Design Centre Director – Bergamo (Q1). The company is well‑funded, rapidly growing, and has ambitious plans for 2026 and beyond. The role builds and grows a complex semiconductor team focused on cutting‑edge integrated material chips. Responsibilities Build and lead a multidisciplinary team (digital design, analog, mixed‑signal, verification, applications engineering, physical design). Drive R&D strategy, process technology adoption, and IP development. Collaborate cross‑functionally with senior leadership to set product roadmap and execution plan. Represent the design centre externally (customers, suppliers, industry partners). Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field. 10+ years of R&D experience in semiconductor design, with proven leadership of multi‑functional teams. Deep technical knowledge of silicon IP and advanced process technologies. Fluency in English required; Italian bilingual preferred. Hands‑on experience with new/advanced process technologies (e.g., fin‑FET, SOI, 3D integration) a strong plus. Track record of delivering complex integrated circuit products to market.
