Supported by a diverse community of individuals, you are able to do and feel your best.As an Assistant Underwriter you will support the Underwriters in all tasks related to their daily activities, supporting the team in the portfolio management and maintenance of the accounts on tools and systems. As a strong team player you will assist the team in data quality assurance and continuous development of best practice. You will utilise your strong communication and relationship building skills as you work closely with the underwriters, clients, brokers and various functions and departments within the company.DISCOVERyour opportunityWhat will your essential responsibilities include?Support the Underwriters on underwriting Delegated Authority business. Conducting research and data analysis pre-underwriting for renewals and new business.Preparing monthly reports and under guidance support the business in planning, forecasting and providing analysis and reporting on the portfolio to the team, internal and external stakeholders as required.Assisting underwriters with administrative processing and requests. Including liaising with administrative teams to ensure the timely, accurate entry of information into the source systems and to ensure the success of operational processes.
