EatHappy Italia and Wakame Italia are two companies of the international EATHAPPY GROUP, based in Germany and present in Italy since , specialized in the production of Sushi and Asian snacks. Under the EATHAPPY brand , we manage shop-in-shops where professional sushi chefs produce the freshest sushi in our customers' supermarkets and hypermarkets. With WAKAME , in our 3,000-square-meter IFS-certified food factory in Bologna, we produce artisanal sushi that we deliver to our customers' supermarkets through our production-to-shop format. Through our production-to-hub model, we supply major retailers directly to a centralized platform. Every day, our chefs prepare ultra-fresh products with passion and commitment, qualities that have allowed the company to grow and gain ever greater prominence in the Italian market. Role Purpose Lead and develop, together with company management, a culture of quality. Ensure customer and regulatory compliance and satisfaction by overseeing the entire product lifecycle. Main Responsibilities Quality System Management: Develop and maintain the company's Quality and Food Safety Management System Standards definition: Establish quality control standards and procedures, from raw materials to the finished product. Activating recall and/or withdrawal procedures when necessary, and communicating with affected customers. Control and Verification: Plan and execute internal audits, monitor the implementation of procedures, and verify compliance. Manage non-conformities and complaints regarding food quality and safety, manage the analysis plan, and check and verify labels and technical data sheets. Continuous Improvement: Analyze data, customer feedback, and performance to identify areas for improvement and propose corrective/preventive actions. Certification Management: Manage relationships with certification bodies and prepare the company for external audits (e.g., IFS). Training and coordination: Train staff on quality policies and collaborate with all departments (Production, Supply Chain, Operations) to integrate quality into every process. Documentation: Prepare and update quality system documentation. Verify and supervise the traceability system and the withdrawal and recall procedure. Supervision: Verify the plant's maintenance status. Evaluate and monitor suppliers, and ensure raw material acceptance checks. Company contact for national health authorities. Required Skills and Qualifications Degree in Food Technology or Biology Knowledge of quality management systems, particularly the HACCP system Knowledge of the main food certifications, in particular the IFS certification Knowledge of control procedures and techniques Knowledge of quality standards and current regulations Strong results orientation, analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Excellent knowledge of the English language. Excellent leadership, mentoring and motivational skills.
