And you’ll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.The successful candidate will oversee the operation and maintenance of the electrical and mechanical infrastructure for Data Centers (DC) in Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud regions. Our technicians are operating and maintaining AWS DCs’ world-class mechanical and electrical infrastructure. In addition to technical operations and maintenance, the successful candidate will oversee facility operations and ensure the implementation of safety procedures.The role requires a motivated, self‑managed individual who demonstrates initiative and proactively seeks solutions to problems while striving for operational excellence. The work follows a process‑oriented approach: the individual needs a strong willingness to learn new processes and adapt to rapidly changing operational scenarios with conflicting priorities.The successful candidate will be part of the Engineering and Facilities team and will be responsible for: maintaining availability for customers; ensuring maintenance and operation of technical infrastructure; and the upkeep and operation of the DC facility.Key job responsibilitiesSafety – Follow and maintain the highest safety standards and diligently encourage a world‑class safety culture. As a facility owner team, ensure remediation of safety risks/issues in conjunction with other teams. Own the safety initiatives and projects to foster strong safety culture.Engineering & Facility Operations and Maintenance – Operational experience and familiarity with electrical and mechanical equipment, including Uninterruptable Power Supplies (UPS’s), Switchgear, Circuit Breakers, Automatic
