Machinery & Package Engineer-Graduate

Job Description Wood is looking for a newly Machinery & Package Engineer- Graduate, to join its Projects business line focusing on engineering, procurement and construction of complex plants in the Chemical, Petrochemical and Energy industries. The position will be based in Corsico (Milan) office, with the possibility to work from home up to two days per week. What We Can Offer

Responsibilities The key objectives for this role are:

• Supporting engineering disciplines with preliminary information:
  • pre-selection of equipment and evaluation of their performances
  • preliminary size estimate of equipment
  • preliminary utilities consumption estimate
• Preparation of equipment/package material requisition and mechanical data sheets, for enquiry
• Technical evaluations and conditioning of Supplier’s quotations:
  • review and check vendor’s proposal for compliance with all specifications and requirements
  • prepare list of questions/clarifications to vendors
  • attend technical clarification meeting(s) with potential vendor(s) and issue notes of meeting
  • prepare bid tabulation and technical evaluation and issue recommendation to project management and procurement
• Review and verification of equipment/package supplier’s engineering for compliance to Project requirements and International Standards, integration within project design and for control of interfaces
• Technical support for installation and commissioning

• Master’s degree in industrial engineering (mechanical, energy, aeronautical, chemical)
• Strong team-work attitude

• Availability to short-medium term assignments abroad
• English fluency is essential

Compensation And Compliance Contract & Classification

• Contract type: Permanent
• Collective Agreement (CCNL): Industria Metalmeccanica (CNEL C011)
• Job Classification level: Impiegato, consistent with role requirements and applicable CCNL

Compensation

• Gross Annual Salary: the initial gross annual salary will be € 32,604.60, paid in 14 instalments
• The compensation package will include applicable CCNL elements and company benefits
• Variable pay and additional benefits will be detailed during the selection process
