We work on the most challenging problems, with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain — and we’re looking for talented people who want to help.Key ResponsibilitiesMove and implement large enterprise equipmentPatch cabling between equipmentInstall fiber and copper cablingEnsure proper safety and security standards are maintained during cabling and rack installationFollow well established hardware installation procedures and break‑fix activitiesSafely use material handling tools and equipmentPhysical RequirementsWalk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch.Work at heights and from ladders.Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds unassisted; participate in group lifts for 50 pounds or more.Must be able to lift loads of up to 40 pounds and carry them for short distances.Continuously climb and descend stairs safely.Reach and stretch to position equipment and fixtures while maintaining balance.Push or pull heavy objects into position.Daily travel between sites may be required.Ability to stand for long periods of time.Ability to work overtime as required.Basic QualificationsKnowledge of fiber optic and copper cabling standards, testing equipment and troubleshooting methodologies.Knowledge of IT system hardware and network concepts.Preferred Qualifications1+ years of Linux troubleshooting, such as firmware flashes and BIOS configuration experience.1+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience.Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
