Hardware Engineer

Come Innovate Motion with Us We are seeking a Hardware Engineer to take ownership of the full product lifecycle from concept through validation ensuring compliance with automotive standards as well as high reliability and performance. This is a newly created position in a rapidly growing and innovative market offering the opportunity to work on projects involving completely new technologies for electric and hybrid vehicles. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to develop forward-thinking solutions for next-generation mobility. Responsibilities Develop high-voltage BLDC motor controllers including schematic capture, PCB layout and component selection (MOSFETs, IGBTs, gate drivers, capacitors) Optimize designs for efficiency, thermal management and EMI/EMC compliance Run simulations to assess circuit behaviour and thermal performance (SPICE, MATLAB, Simulink) Lead activities for building samples and prototypes before serial production; define testing requirements to validate the prototype Prototype testing using oscilloscopes, power analysers and environmental chambers Conduct EMI/EMC testing and troubleshoot issues Validate designs according to automotive standards (ISO 26262, AEC-Q100/101) Produce final documentation for PCBA production (BOM, schematic, Gerber file, component specifications) Collaborate with our international team of engineers Your Profile BSc or MSc degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related fields Ideally more than 3 years of relevant experience in the automotive industry Previous working experience with High Voltage power electronics (specifically automotive BLDC motor controllers) is mandatory Relevant knowledge in automotive communication protocols, DVP/R processes and automotive standards Proficiency in Altium Designer, Cadence and simulation tools (LTSPICE, MATLAB) Good English language skills are mandatory; French or German would be an advantage Teamwork oriented and able to utilize skills in a multicultural environment Prominent professional curiosity and willingness to learn Open to occasionally travel across European and Asian locations What we offer A key role in an innovative EV project Exposure to cutting-edge technologies and global collaboration Opportunities for professional growth and skill development Key Skills Arm, Electrical Engineering, SOC, System Design, Firmware, C/C++, PCB, Sensors, FPGA, Digital Design, Assembly, Product Development Employment Type: Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1 Our purpose is to improve the quality of life of everyone we touch through our innovative motion systems.
