And that’s where you come in.Experience Required2+ to 5 YearsCareer LevelExperiencedEducation RequiredBachelor's DegreeLocationPiossasco (TO)Genova would be an alternative location as well.AccountabilitiesRequirement analysisResponsible for ensuring successful on time, on budget delivery of an engineering and software solutionResponsible for leading work packet Project Monitoring and Control activities including maintaining schedule, CTC, MPR updates, meeting minutes, risk register, and change ordersPrioritization and monitoring of software problem report status, and execution of tasks within functional areas that includes engineering and software development activitiesFacilitates scope / requirement discussions with technical teams and customerActive participation in optimal overall project technical solutionSupport to HW & SW design e commissioningSupport for test on site with customerRequired Skills & ExperienceVery good English written and spoken;Minimum 5 years’ experience as project engineer or lead systems / software engineer for large software control system applicationsExperience with basic Project Management :Maintaining and controlling budgetSchedule monitoring / development,Maintaining risk register,Resource and task managementGood understanding and / or prior experience with software development lifecycles, delivery, and HW / SW integration lifecyclePrior experience with Microsoft Office suite, scheduling software (MS Project or Primavera), requirements management systems, and software configuration toolsPrior experience managing small-medium sized projects and project teamsDemonstrated ability to lead, engage, and manage tasking of cross‑functional teams of varying skills / experienceSuccess with multi‑tasking across multiple projects at given timeBuilds effective relationships and has exceptional communication and leadership skillsDetail oriented with excellent organizational skillsExperience in manage project in international contextDesired Skills & ExperienceSome knowledge on Data Base, SW e programming languagesPrefer rail or rail transit domain experience, but not requiredFamiliar with Automatic Train Supervision (ATS) products, technology, and project deliverablesPrefer prior experience supporting Bids and Proposals for new workExperience with overall systems architecture designExperience with robust, mission critical control systemsExperience with providing leadership in either a functional management or project management roleMore then 5 years of experience are a plusAt Hitachi Rail, there is a place for everyone.
