Italian Language Consultant | $40/hr Remote | Mercor At Crossing Hurdles, we work as a referral partner. We refer candidates to Mercor that collaborates with the world’s leading AI research labs to build and train cutting‑edge AI models. Organization: Mercor Position: Bilingual Expert | English and Italian Referral Partner: Crossing Hurdles Type: Hourly Contract Compensation: $35–$40/hour Location: Remote Commitment: 10–40 hours/week Role Responsibilities (Training support will be provided)Review and assess AI-generated Italian translations for linguistic accuracy, fluency, and contextual appropriateness. Identify and correct unnatural phrasing, tone inconsistencies, or mistranslations. Ensure translations align with natural Italian usage and regional nuances. Maintain high reading speed, precision, and attention to detail throughout review tasks.RequirementsNative or near‑native fluency in both Italian and English. Deep familiarity with regional Italian language usage and cultural context. Strong experience in translation, localization, or linguistic review. Excellent analytical and written communication skills.
