You will work closely with transport managers to optimize both inbound and outbound transport solutions. Engaging constructively with various entities in Italy, you will develop synergies and improve overall performance within the CT business area.Your role involves creating a long‑term global strategy for transport purchasing and execution, including master data management. You will meet targets set by the team leader transport in Airpower and the general manager in Turin Distribution Center, focusing on service excellence for all CT logistics processes. Additionally, you will design and implement an efficient transport structure for Italian‑made machines and shipped spares, aiming for cost efficiency.Developing and standardizing KPIs to transparently measure transport performance, supported by appropriate systems and processes, is a key part of your responsibilities. You will ensure the transport management system aligns with CT logistics standards.Driving continuous improvement, you will collaborate with transport managers within Italian entities, enhance customer service through improved transport performance, benchmark freight solutions and providers to improve cost and quality, and extend supplier payables to improve capital structure. Improving delivery visibility and traceability throughout the supply chain, ensuring consolidation when required by customers, is also essential.You will foster a motivating work environment across Italian entities and actively implement the transport strategy and roadmap. Additionally, you will actively contribute to the Global Freight Council. This role reports to the team leader Transport, located in Antwerp, with a dotted line to the General manager in the Turin Distribution Center.You are located in the Turin Distribution Center.Experience RequirementsYou should have experience and knowledge of logistic flows and processes, with at least 5 years of experience in transport.Education RequirementsA university degree is required. You have a good knowledge of the English language.Familiarity with Italian is an advantage, and a willingness to learn it is essential.Personality RequirementsYou are a dynamic and result‑driven individual, motivated to achieve targets. As a team player, you enjoy networking and developing relationships within Italian entities. You possess strong negotiation skills and are willing to support change management. You are capable of working independently and have effective communication skills that help build smooth and trustworthy relationships with business partners.
