Electromechanical & RF Technician – AITReports to:Head ofPayload System EngineeringJob purpose:To support the laboratory and cleanroom activities, performing electromechanical, electrical, RF, and basic mechanical activities in compliance with defined procedures, quality standards, and test requirements.Location:MetaSensing, Via Aniene 2, 20151, Milan, ItalyCompany description MetaSensing is an innovative Italian remote sensing company founded in 2008 with the aim of commercializing the new compact, high resolution radar mapping technology.In just a few years, MetaSensing has acquired numerous successful airborne radar campaigns completed at the Ka, Ku, X, C, S, L and P frequency bands, and developed drone and space-based radar systems for different applications.Today MetaSensing is one of the unique companies in the world which offer cost effective airborne and space-based radar sensors and services both for commercial and security applications.Combination of innovative technology and advanced processing techniques has made MetaSensing a fast growing, global company with projects in Europe, South East Asia, Middle East, North and South America.Job DutiesExecution of electromechanical assembly activities following drawings, procedures, and work instructionsElectrical and RF cabling, routing, crimping, soldering, and connector matingExecution of RF and electrical checks (continuity, insulation, power connections, signal integrity…)Mechanical rework activities (e.g. fasteners, inserts, extraction of damaged screws, minor machining)Assembly and integration of radar subsystems and payloads, including electrical, RF, and mechanical componentsSupport to functional, performance, acceptance, and qualification tests (AIT activities)Identification, troubleshooting, and reporting of anomalies during assembly and test phasesCompilation of test reports, assembly records, non-conformance notes, and technical documentationRequired skills and qualificationsProven experience in electromechanical and RF assembly of complex equipmentAbility to correctly use manual tools and measurement instruments (torque wrenches, calipers, multimeters, power supplies, oscilloscopes – basic level)Ability to follow assembly procedures and verify correct installation and functionalityAbility to read and understand CAD, electrical schematics and wiring diagramsBasic mechanical manufacturing and reworking skillsAbility to write clear test reports and document results, anomalies, and corrective actionsAbility to work both autonomously and within a technical teamGood problem-solving attitude and structured troubleshooting approachGood knowledge of the English language (spoken and written)Desired Skills / QualificationsMinimum 3 years of experience in AIT, production, or test activities (aerospace, space, radar, RF, or electronics sectors preferred)Experience with radar systems, RF payloads, or space hardwareFamiliarity with cleanroom or controlled assembly environmentsAbility to work in a fast-paced development and test environmentAvailability for off-site test campaigns and occasional travelExperience working according to procedures and quality standards (ECSS, aerospace, or equivalent)Candidate must be eligible to work in Italy.Employment condition Full-time, 40 hours per week.For additional information or for the application, please send an email with your CV and cover letter to with a subject Ref: MS-JDS-MDE- .#J-18808-Ljbffr
