What you’ll build and run

  • Paid search and AI search— the biggest lever Google Ads end to end: campaign structure, keywords, ad copy, landing pages, budget phasing across the September–May booking season, and solid conversion tracking before a euro is spent. You’ll be accountable for cost per enquiry and cost per enrolment — and know when to pause a campaign the moment its programme sells out. Then AI search, where we want to get ahead early. Parents and school counsellors are already asking ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews things like “best summer programme in Italy for a 16‑year‑old interested in engineering.” Nobody in our category has claimed that ground yet. We intend to.
  • Website— WordPress, hands‑on Your site is the shop window and lead‑capture engine. A proper landing page per programme, page speed, tracking, forms, on‑page SEO, an always‑current catalogue. You’ll build and edit pages yourself — briefing an agency to change a headline isn’t this job.
  • CRM and lifecycle— the real thing, not a newsletter. We use Klaviyo and currently under‑use it badly. You’ll bring segmentation by programme, market, channel and funnel stage; automated flows across the whole journey — enquiry, application, deposit, balance, pre‑arrival, post‑programme, referral; a published annual communication calendar for families and partners; win‑back campaigns on years of past enquirers; and lead scoring and attribution that actually holds up.
  • B2B marketing— half our business. Our agents and partner schools are a sales force we market to, not a channel we can afford to ignore. You’ll handle the B2B side end to end, hands‑on: the DEM programme and partner nurture calendar, programme brochures, price lists, one‑pagers, presentations and playbooks, campaign material for fairs and webinars, and the recruitment campaigns that bring new partners in. The better equipped they are, the more they sell — so B2B materials need to be just as strong as anything we put in front of a family.
  • Content— two audiences, two different jobs. A teenager has to want it; a parent has to pay for it and trust us with their child for a summer. You’ll need to make things yourself, not only commission them: shoot and edit short‑form video, write for both audiences, and plan in‑programme content capture ahead of the season rather than improvising during it.
  • Social— Meta and TikTok. Meta rebuilt properly, and TikTok built from the ground up, where our audience actually is. Content calendar, publishing, community management, paid social, creator and student‑generated content — with the same discipline as paid search: spend follows availability, and stops when a programme is full.
  • Reporting. A monthly report to the CEO: spend by channel, cost per lead, cost per enrolment, B2C vs. B2B performance, revenue attributed. Building attribution we can genuinely trust is part of the job, not an afterthought.

What you bring

Three to five years in digital or growth marketing, hands‑on— ideally somewhere you carried a number, not just a content calendar. This is deliberately not a role for someone with eight, ten or more years of

experience:
we need someone who still builds the campaign and writes the ad themselves, not someone who reviews a plan and hands it to others to execute. If your CV is mostly about the teams you’ve led rather than the things you’ve personally built, this role will feel like a step backward, and that helps neither of us.
