Preventive and corrective second level troubleshooting ensuring quality, continuity of service and the restoring time for Core IMS Network Elements. In collaboration with 1st Line Operations teams, work out procedures related to the analysis of alarms to detect and eliminate faults. Perform data configuration, software rollout and support integration activities with planning and delivery functions.Key accountabilities and decision ownershipIn case of incident assure troubleshooting analysis and all the repair actions, including vendor support escalation, to achieve service and performance restoration of Core NetworkPerform proactive maintenance activities to prevent incidents and constantly optimize the network, e.g. Daily Walkthroughs and Health checks for Core CS componentsAssure planned work activities, network rollout, software upgrades and parameter changes in Core CS network ensuring quality of service and avoiding regression on network functionalitiesIntroduce and manage cutting edge technologies including vendor and on the job trainingPerform acceptance test and integration/configuration activities of new network elements of the Core CS networkKnowledge sharing to increase technical skills of other teams involved in deployment and operations activities in the networkKey performance indicatorsPutting customer firstManaging a changing environmentDelivering resultsCommunicating for impactCore competencies, knowledge and experienceVery good knowledge of core network principles for 2G/LTE technologies: MSS, MGW, SBC, CSCF, TAS, ENUM, VoLTEGood knowledge of core network protocols: SIGTRAN, ISUP, CAMEL, INAP SIP, Diameter, TCP/UDP, S1AP, GTP/GTPv2, MAP, BSSAPExperience in trace analysis (Wireshark traces, Tektronix traces, network element traces)NFV Framework basics and knowledge of VNF context and technologies (virtualization layer, VIM, VNF Managers).
