JOB OVERVIEW: TE Connectivity's Quality Assurance Teams are responsible for all or part of an organization's Quality Management System. They work on systemic evaluation of products, services, facilities, manufacturing or business processes, to ensure that standards of quality are being met. Develop and implement quality plans, programs and procedures using quality control statistics, lean manufacturing concepts, and six-sigma tools and analyses. They review, analyze and report on quality discrepancies, investigate problems and execute quality audits, and develop disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies. The team works closely with manufacturing, engineering, customers, or suppliers and subcontractors to ensure requirements are met. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Maintain and develop the Quality Management System according to IATF 16949 and internal standards Initiate and conduct trainings for Quality Management System and in case of changes of internal directives Monitor and control specific customer requirements and implement it to the internal directives Use Quality Core tools to improve production processes, and to solve Customer or internal issues. (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, incl. Control Plans / QIP / Flow charts, MSA, SPC, Problem Solving) Work on Quality Projects to maintain and develop the quality system and improve the Quality performances Perform internal system audit, process audits and any other potential assessments Control compliance between directives and reality and inform responsible employees about nonconformities Prepare management review and report regularly about QMS status.
