With over 550MWh operating , 5GWh under construction , and a 10GWh development pipeline spanning the UK, Australia, Italy, Germany, Spain, and Sweden, this team drives innovation and speed in the energy transition.Collaborative yet highly autonomous, their specialist team values performance, diversity, and initiative — working with top developers and utilities on some of Europe’s most impactful storage projects.About the RoleWe’re seeking a Project Manager based in Italy , ideally near Milan , with willingness to travel nationally for key projects — including current work near Milan and an upcoming site in Cerignola (South Italy) .This role suits an experienced BESS professional and self-starter who thrives in fast-moving, lightly structured environments. You’ll lead full project lifecycles, from design coordination through construction and commissioning, ensuring technical quality, timeline control, and cost efficiency.Key Job ResponsibilitiesOversee engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning of utility-scale BESS projects.Coordinate contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure safety, quality, and performance targets.Track progress, budgets, and risks while maintaining alignment with company objectives.Engage closely with TSOs and grid operators for connection and compliance.Drive delivery excellence within a lean, high-performing project team.What You BringProven Project Management experience in Renewable Energy , with BESS expertise essential.Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.Strong autonomy, accountability, and proactive problem-solving.Fluent English; Italian language skills are a strong plus.EU work eligibility and flexibility to travel within Italy.What’s on OfferJoin one of Europe’s most active BESS developers with a strong growth pipeline.Work in a high-impact, collaborative, and flexible team culture.Competitive package, performance incentives, and long-term career potential.Interested in driving the next generation of battery storage projects?Contact Marcel Skolimowski at or for a confidential discussion.
