We value curiosity, analytical rigor, and the ability to translate numbers into meaningful business strategies. Basic Qualifications5+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience. Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or a related field. Experience working with large‑scale data mining and reporting tools (SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards). Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results.Preferred QualificationsMBA, or CPA. Experience building and managing financial models for business forecasting and problem solving. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel at an advanced level, including: pivot tables, macros, INDEX/ MATCH, VLOOKUP, VBA, data links. Experience communicating complex business concepts in verbal and written form. Experience prioritizing and handling multiple assignments simultaneously while maintaining commitment to deadlines, or completing complex tasks quickly with little to no guidance and reacting with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround. FP&A and/or Public Accounting background, including an understanding of entertainment/studios accounting concepts. Demonstrated effective communication and presentation skills working with multiple peer groups and senior levels of management. The base pay for this position ranges from $85,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
