We are seeking a Mechanical Engineering Technician to join our dynamic team. Our top products include:- Imaging Systems; - Payload Electronics; - Spacecraft and Aerospace Platform Avionics; - Ground Segment equipment.Key TasksThe selected candidate will be involved in mechanical design, manufacturing support, integration, and test activities, following the full component lifecycle: from 3D modeling and production release to assembly and test support.In particular, you will:- Design mechanical parts and assemblies using 3D CAD tools and produce related 2D drawings. - Support industrialization activities and interface with external suppliers. - Perform mechanical integration and assembly of parts and sub-assemblies. - Execute light manual machining operations on prototypes and parts (drilling, tapping, light milling, helicoil insertion). - Support mechanical, functional, and environmental testing and troubleshooting activities. - Support structural and/or thermal analyses and related technical documentation. - Perform quality control of externally manufactured mechanical parts, including dimensional checks. - Prepare technical documentation for design, integration, and test activities.Key Skills & Qualification- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. - Good knowledge of technical drawings and dimensional tolerances. - Proficiency with 3D CAD tools, preferably SolidWorks, and ability to produce 2D drawings. - Practical, hands-on attitude and strong attention to detail. - Basic knowledge of materials, machining technologies, and measurement instruments. - Ability to work in team environments and meet project deadlines. - Native Italian speaker or full professional proficiency in Italian. - Good knowledge of the English language.What we offerAt TSD, we are committed to providing our employees with a competitive salary that exceeds the national average and the average in many major cities, such as Milan - the northern economic capital of Italy.
