Are you up for the challenge?Position OverviewThe IT Applications Manager is a hands‑on technical expert and strategic owner of the company’s business applications (NetSuite, Salesforce, integration platforms). This role combines technical proficiency with project leadership and stakeholder management. You will independently manage incidents, changes, system integrations, and application‑related projects while shaping the IT environment for efficiency and simplification. This role reports to the Director of IT & Cybersecurity and offers high impact in a fast‑growing company.Key ResponsibilitiesApplication Management & SupportServe as primary technical support for core business applications (NetSuite, Salesforce, Celigo).Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, manage change requests, and perform system configurations.Maintain documentation of configurations, customizations, and troubleshooting procedures.Monitor application performance, optimize processes, and manage vendors, contracts, and licensing.Projects & Strategic InitiativesLead application‑related projects from initiation to closure, managing timelines, budgets, and stakeholders.Drive the applications roadmap toward efficiency and simplification, eliminating redundancies and advocating sustainable solutions.Evaluate and implement new software solutions in alignment with existing architecture.Integrations & Data ManagementManage and enhance system integrations (iPaaS), ensuring data integrity and minimal disruptions.Oversee BI solutions to improve visibility and support decision‑making.Establish governance, operational processes, and architectural principles for applications, APIs, and new systems.Security, Compliance & Cost OptimizationImplement application security measures, including RBAC, access control, and compliance frameworks.Track application‑related spending, optimize licensing agreements, and make ROI‑based recommendations.QualificationsEducation & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or related field.5+ years in business applications management, including 2+ years hands‑on NetSuite administration.Experience managing incidents, changes, integrations, and small‑to‑medium SaaS projects.Technical SkillsNetSuite: administration, core modules, saved searches, workflows, SuiteScript (preferred).Salesforce: administration, workflows, validation rules, reporting, security, data management.Integration & BI: iPaaS (Celigo preferred), APIs (REST/SOAP), webhooks, data integrity.SaaS/cloud applications, end‑to‑end business processes, and application troubleshooting.Additional CompetenciesProject management and leadership skills for multiple concurrent initiatives.Strong communication, problem‑solving, autonomy, adaptability, and stakeholder management.Strategic mindset with ability to simplify processes, optimize business workflows, and evaluate emerging technologies.PreferredSalesforce administration experience, Celigo/iPaaS exposure.Experience in fast‑growing tech companies, semiconductor, hardware, or AI industries.Certifications: NetSuite Administrator/SuiteFoundation, Salesforce Administrator, Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum).LocationWe offer a flexible working arrangement, with options to:Work from one of our Axelera AI offices (Leuven in Belgium, Amsterdam and Eindhoven in the Netherlands, or Florence and Milan in Italy) if you're already based in the vicinity; orWork fully remotely from the country you are already in (exclusive to countries listed in the job description).What We OfferThis is your chance to shape and be part of a dynamic, fast‑growing, international organization.
