Established, stable, rapidly growing medical dermatology company have a newly created opportunity for a Sales Manager to lead the expansion and build out of our portfolio in the Italian market. This person will build and direct a national sales team that promotes OTC and prescription dermatology products in women's health, oncology, wound care, and medical aesthetics.The company has a tremendous amount of clinical credibility and an extensive line of popular, science-based products. It has 9 products on the market with a further 5 in its pipeline. The products are marketed and sold in over 90 countries with more on the horizon.Because of its continued success in Italy, Stratpharma is expanding its independent sales team and needs an experienced pharmaceutical management professional to play a central role in taking the organization to the next level. This person will report to the Chief Executive Officer at our headquarters in Switzerland. Stratpharma is uniquely positioned for rapid growth in Italy and needs a leader that will be an ambassador internally and externally and represent the ethos and core values of the brand.Position Description (Brief Overview)Create and execute the national Sales Strategy, drive corporate objectives and revenue growthProvide strong leadership for the national sales function, set clear and unified direction for the teamBuild the sales team: manage, stretch, and develop into top performing organizationAchieve revenue, profit, organizational, and strategic goals and objectivesEnhance sales pipeline system: reporting, forecasting, performance: from lead generation to closeBuild relationships with Key Opinion Leaders, authentically leverage in mutually beneficial wayEstablish and maintain top level contact with organization’s important customersOversee Field-Based sales organizationsDevelop annual sales business plans to drive revenue and increase market penetrationAccurately forecast monthly, quarterly, and annual sales achievementsTravel as necessary to visit sales team, major accounts, attend trade shows and key events8+ years sales management experience; extensive background working with OTC and prescription productsSuccessful experience building high performing teams of sales professionalsMarketing experience with local market pharmacy chainsExtensive experience of local market specialty pharmacyTrack record in the formulation and execution of sales plansPrevious P&L experienceExisting relationships in women's health, oncology, medical aesthetics, and wound care, is advantageousAcute understanding of the competitor landscapeExcellent commercial instincts, strong financial acumen and analytical skills, attention to detailFluent EnglishKey Points:Industry/Product Category: medical dermatology, women's health, oncology, wound care, aesthetic surgeryTitle: Country Manager/Sales Manager ItalyScope: National responsibilityLocation: Milan or close proximity.Compensation: Competitive with high bonus aligned to performance, MBO's, and KPI'sFulltimeThis is a newly created role that will see the successful candidate become a pivotal figure in Stratpharmas growth story.
