Together, we pursue a shared mission to create a more sustainable future.Job Description Summary As a Field Service Technician, you will safely provide commissioning and aftermarket support to a diverse group of industrial and municipal customers primarily focused, but not limited, on our ultrafiltration (UF) and membrane bioreactor (MBR) product line.What you will be responsible for EH&S complianceReview of customer plant installations and compare against Veolia reference drawings (P&IDs, electrical schematics, general arrangement, etc.)Monitor equipment performance and operationConduct maintenance and calibration activities on various treatment plant instrumentationPerform analytical testing such as turbidity, hardness, chlorine, pH, CO2, SDI, Fe, in addition to various other site‑specific testing requirementsChemicals handlingCarry out mechanical, electrical, process and controls troubleshooting on equipment such as valves, air compressors, ejector pumps, blowers, instrumentation, and automation hardwarePerform installation & maintenance activities on various UF membrane, Filtration, Clarification, RO, EDI, EDR, ED, BPED, IX configurationProvide customers with informal training around operation and maintenance of their systemProvide customers with detailed technical summaries of work performed during service visitsSupport team on troubleshooting, repairs and warranty issues resolutionCoordinate operations, maintenance, and repair activities to obtain optimum utilization of machines and equipmentEvaluate field installations and recommend design modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctionsTechnical training delivery when neededSite surveysDirect communication with Project managers and Customers on siteSales support when neededSupport for costing of contractsParticipate in the team meetings to share best practicesQualifications What will you bring to the table (Skills / Experience Required) :High school technical diploma (electrical background preferred) and 2+ years’ experience of service / maintenance or equivalent in an industrial environmentWorking experience with PLC control systems, PLC programming and troubleshooting is preferredAbility to travel inside and outside of Italy (mainly Europe)Valid Driver’s LicenseDemonstrated ability to work independently and remotely with project teamsStrong oral and written communication skills in local language and in EnglishAbility to meet all customer site requirementsAdditional Information As an inclusive company, Veolia is committed to diversity and gives equal consideration to all applications, without discrimination.#J-18808-Ljbffr
