Job DescriptionSummaryAs a Field Service Technician, you will safely provide commissioning and aftermarket support to a diverse group of industrial and municipal customers primarily focused, but not limited, on our ultrafiltration (UF) and membrane bioreactor (MBR) product line. What you will be responsible forEH&S compliance Review of customer plant installations and compare against Veolia reference drawings (P&IDs, electrical schematics, general arrangement, etc.) Monitor equipment performance and operation Conduct maintenance and calibration activities on various treatment plant instrumentation Perform analytical testing such as turbidity, hardness, chlorine, pH, CO2, SDI, Fe, in addition to various other site‑specific testing requirements Chemicals handling Carry out mechanical, electrical, process and controls troubleshooting on equipment such as valves, air compressors, ejector pumps, blowers, instrumentation, and automation hardware Perform installation & maintenance activities on various UF membrane, Filtration, Clarification, RO, EDI, EDR, ED, BPED, IX configuration Provide customers with informal training around operation and maintenance of their system Provide customers with detailed technical summaries of work performed during service visits Support team on troubleshooting, repairs and warranty issues resolution Coordinate operations, maintenance, and repair activities to obtain optimum utilization of machines and equipment Evaluate field installations and recommend design modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctions Technical training delivery when needed Site surveys Direct communication with Project managers and Customers on site Sales support when needed Support for costing of contracts Participate in the team meetings to share best practices QualificationsWhat will you bring to the table (Skills / Experience Required) : High school technical diploma (electrical background preferred) and 2+ years’ experience of service / maintenance or equivalent in an industrial environment Working experience with PLC control systems, PLC programming and troubleshooting is preferred Ability to travel inside and outside of Italy (mainly Europe) Valid Driver’s License Demonstrated ability to work independently and remotely with project teams Strong oral and written communication skills in local language and in English Ability to meet all customer site requirements Additional InformationAs an inclusive company, Veolia is committed to diversity and gives equal consideration to all applications, without discrimination.#J-18808-Ljbffr
