As BDM, you will sell transportation and logistics services to new and existing customers, focusing on your personal sales goals and new business development. We\'ll give you the support you need to excel at work and the resources to build a career you can be proud of.What you will do on a typical dayIdentify and develop leads through trusted sources, and cold calling to ensure sales and freight volume to meet/exceed objectivesNegotiate with established and developing clients to secure profitable rates and ensure client satisfactionDevelop and maintain a solid understanding of the industry, including rates, carriers, loading capacities, equipment types, etc.Collaborate with team members to secure sales terms, including negotiating rates, identifying carriers, utilizing specialized equipment, etc.Follow established procedures and protocols regarding all cargo to ensure shipment integrity and the XPO brandUpdate internal tracking and reporting systems throughout the day to maintain accuracy in sales and volume metricsWhat you need to be successful at XPOHigher qualificationProven sales experienceThe drive and energy to manage multiple accounts while pursuing new opportunitiesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to understand client needs and manage the negotiation processStrong time management skillsComputer skills, especially MS OfficeMedium-high level of EnglishIt would be great if you also haveBachelor\'s degree in business, marketing or related fieldAt least 5 years of professional sales experienceAt least 3 years of transportation and logistics experienceOther languages are always welcome (French, Deutsch…)Be part of something bigXPO es una empresa comprometida con la diversidad, la igualdad y la inclusión.
