We are looking for a dynamicHead of Space Production Engineering .Position Overview TheHead of Space Production Engineeringwill lead the company's entire technical function, with direct responsibility for design, systems engineering, subsystems, AIT, configuration, test support activities, and theindustrialization process . The role ensures the seamless transition from design to serial production, driving manufacturability, production readiness, process standardization, cost optimization, supply chain integration, and continuous improvement across all space systems programs. This role is both strategic and operational, ensuring that satellites are designed to be manufacturable, integrable, and testable, while meeting cost, schedule, and mission requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & StrategyDefine and implement the company's technical strategy in alignment with the industrial planLead and develop multidisciplinary teams including:Systems EngineeringMechanical & Structural EngineeringElectrical & Avionics EngineeringThermal EngineeringAIT EngineeringConfiguration & DocumentationFoster a culture focused on quality, reliability, and continuous improvementEngineering GovernanceOversee the full satellite lifecycle:Requirements definition and managementSystem architectureDesign and developmentVerification and validationAssembly, Integration & TestingEnsure compliance with ECSS standards (or equivalent)Chair and oversee major design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, FRR)Industrialization & AIT FocusEnsure projects follow:Design for Manufacturing (DFM)Design for Assembly (DFA)Design for Test (DFT)Work closely with Production to optimize workflows, tooling, and AIT processesSupervise functional and environmental test campaigns (TVAC, vibration, shock, EMC) and qualification activitiesProgram & Stakeholder ManagementSupport Business Development during proposal and bidding phasesInterface with institutional and commercial customers on technical mattersCoordinate with Supply Chain for selection and qualification of critical suppliersRequirementsMaster's degree in aerospace engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalentMinimum 10-15 years of experience in the space industryDirect experience with satellite programs in the 50-500 kg classStrong background in:Systems EngineeringAITEnvironmental test campaignsProven experience managing multidisciplinary technical teamsDeep knowledge of ECSS standardsFluent in EnglishPossession of a driving license (Category B)Preferred QualificationsExperience in serial or semi-serial satellite production environmentsBackground in satellite platform industrializationExperience in New Space or fast-paced commercial programsFamiliarity with lean methodologies applied to space manufacturingKey CompetenciesAuthoritative yet collaborative technical leadershipStrong results orientationDecision-making capability in high-complexity environmentsSystem-level vision with attention to detailEffective technical risk managementBenefits What We Offer:40-hour work week, Monday to FridayA dynamic and stimulating work environmentOpportunities for professional growth and developmentWhy Join Us?A unique opportunity for professional growth in a young and dynamic aerospace company.The chance to work on innovative projects with a global impact in the small satellite sector.A stimulating and collaborative environment, with the opportunity to contribute to shaping the company's future strategies.#J-18808-Ljbffr
