This Role Job Title: Data Centre Installer ATC’s Data Centre Installers (DCIs) provide an essential service to our clients across Europe. They work inside our clients’ data centres delivering, positioning, and installing server racks to build their cloud infrastructure. Safety, security and customer service are the priorities for all ATC employees. The DCI role provides candidates with opportunities to learn and develop. There are pathways to delivery supervisor, cabling technician, or team leader, and training and mentorship are provided. Work Location: The DCIs will work onsite in our clients' data centres in Milan, Italy. Role & Responsibilities Attend clients’ sites on time, with all required equipment, uniform, procedures and documentation, and PPE. Unloading, unpacking with power tools and positioning customers’ IT hardware (server racks). Occasional lifting, always carried out with the appropriate tools, safe methods, and team support. Providing industry-leading customer service levels by acting professionally with clients and colleagues at all times. Following clients’ procedures and requirements, including health and safety, and security. Communicating with colleagues, including managers, planners, team leaders and supervisors, in a consistent, timely, and efficient manner. Reports include arrival times, delays, safety concerns, and completion times. Completing daily checklists and providing reports on daily activities or tasks, including other general administration tasks. Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time in line with your skills and competencies. Requirements The role requires flexibility and adaptability to changing situations and customer requirements, so the candidate must be comfortable working under pressure and on strict timelines. The candidate must be adaptable while performing tasks, ready to change priorities and maintain professional communications with clients, colleagues and vendors. The successful candidate will be required to possess and demonstrate the following: Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with high levels of attention to detail. Valid class 1 driving licence with a good driving record. Basic experience with hand and power tools. Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams and Email. Language proficiency: C1 level in English and B2 level in the country of employment. The following qualifications, skills and experience would be an advantage. Prior experience in a data centre, logistics or construction environment. Ability to be flexible and travel for work. Ability to complete checklists in Excel (or Teams) based on daily activities. Il ruolo Nel ruolo di installatore di data center (DCI) presso la nostra sede di Milano (Italia) fornirai un servizio essenziale ai nostri clienti. I DCI, infatti, lavorano all'interno dei data center dei nostri clienti occupandosi della consegna, del posizionamento e dell'installazione dei rack dei server per costruire la loro infrastruttura cloud, garantendo elevati standard disicurezza, protezione e servizio clienti Nel tuo ruolo ricoprirai le seguenti attività: Operatività presso le sedi di data center dei clienti secondo tempi e modalità concordate (es. orari, attrezzature, documentazione necessaria); Scarico, disimballaggio con utensili elettrici e posizionamento dell'hardware IT dei clienti (rack per server); Movimentazione occasionale(sempre eseguiti con gli strumenti appropriati, metodi sicuri e supporto del team); Interfaccia con i clienti e i colleghi interni, , garantendo un approccio professionale e servizio clienti di alto livello; Rispetto e osservazione delle procedure e dei requisiti dei clienti, compresi quelli relativi alla salute, alla sicurezza e alla protezione; Collaborazione con interlocutori interni all’azienda nella definizione di orari, piani e gestione degli imprevisti per garantire tempestività ed efficienza; Compilazione e produzione di checklist giornaliere, report e documenti amministrativi. Chi cerchiamo Cerchiamo una risorsa flessibile e capace di adattarsi a ritmi e richieste variabili, in grado di operare efficacemente in contesti dinamici e nel rispetto di scadenze rigorose, portando così a termine i compiti assegnati. Il profilo ideale possiede: Ottime capacità organizzative, di problem solving e attenzione ai dettagli; Patente di guida C1 valida con pregressa esperienza pratica di guida; Esperienza pratica nell’impiego di strumenti manuali ed elettrici per attività operative; Buona conoscenza di Microsoft e del Pacchetto Office; con Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams ed e-mail. Conoscenza della lingua italiana (almeno livello B2) e della lingua inglese (livello C1) Gradita esperienza pregressa in un data center in ambito logistico o edilizio; Flessibilità e disponibilità a frequenti trasferte in Italia e all’estero;Serietà e rispetto nell’applicazione delle procedure e delle linee guida aziendali e di quelle dei clienti.
