If you have a strong foundation in system administration desktop and server support and business process awareness we would like to hear from you.As System Administrator you will be responsible for:Installing configuring and supporting desktop applications and environmentsPerforming routine server maintenance including patching monitoring and updatesSupporting Citrix infrastructure (XenApp / Xen Desktop)Providing first-level support for networking issues (TCP / IP DNS DHCP)Performing basic administration tasks on Microsoft SQL Server (user management backups monitoring)Supporting meeting room technologies including video conferencing systems AV equipment and scheduling toolsCollaborating with business teams to support core processes such as procurement accounts payable and accounts receivableCreating reports and performing data analysis using Microsoft Excel and AccessDocumenting technical procedures and contributing to continuous improvement initiativesSupporting ICT-related activities within project and portfolio management frameworksFuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will:Technical Diploma or a Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related fieldHave experience in system administration and desktop support in enterprise environmentsDemonstrate basic knowledge of networking protocols and server infrastructureBe familiar with Citrix environments and remote desktop technologiesHave hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server administrationBe proficient in Microsoft Office tools especially Excel (pivot tables formulas) and Access (queries reports)Show understanding of business processes such as procurement and financial operationsBe comfortable supporting meeting room toolsDemonstrate strong problem-solving skills attention to detail and a collaborative mindsetBe proactive organized and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environmentremote work opportunity with the request to go to the office once a monthWork in a way that works for youWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone this role we can offer the following flexible working patterns :Working flexible hours - flexing the times when you work in the day to help you fit everything in and work when you are the most productiveWorking with usOur people are at the heart of what we do at Baker Hughes.
