In this onsite role, you support HPC operations at customer sites, helping ensure availability, stability, and performance of HPC environments. You’ll collaborate with HPE hardware teams, customer sysadmins, and vendor partners to diagnose and resolve incidents. You drive SLA achievement through expert troubleshooting and cross-functional coordination, with emphasis on Linux administration and HPC core technologies. This position offers growth in a dynamic, customer-focused setting where you shape the reliability of complex HPC solutions.

Responsabilità Qualify, analyze, troubleshoot and resolve incidents with autonomy and expertise
Increase autonomy and expertise of the HPE hardware team in repairs and maintenance
Collaborate with HPE level 3 support and engineering to diagnose complex issues and implement resolutions
Interact with third-party vendors (Red Hat, AMD, Intel, Nvidia, …)
Collaborate with the Customer sysadmin and support teams
Manage the customer relationship, including verbal and written communication
Requisiti fondamentali Expert level Linux system administration
Understanding of architectural dependencies in the customer's IT environment
Strong knowledge of HPC systems and components
Experience with parallel filesystems (Lustre, GPFS, …)
Knowledge of high-speed networks (Infiniband, OmniPath, Slingshot)
DevOps experience (Ansible, Git, Puppet, Bash or Python)
Experience with parallel computing and development software stacks
Experience with monitoring and data tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
Familiarity with Docker containers and Kubernetes
Ability to communicate in Italian and English
Analytical mindset
Strong collaboration and teamwork
Commitment to delivering according to SLA
Linux system expertise with distribution management (Red Hat, …)
