Joining us means joining a truly global community of more than 75000 people dedicated to solving real‑world mobility challenges and achieving international projects with sustainable local impact.Purpose of the jobTo define and implement routine tests according to Engineering requirements for electronics productsTo define specific tools, ensure their manufacturing and implementation in OperationsAct in respect of standards, AT rules and business targets (EHS, Ergonomics, QCD)Perform tooling costing and its lifecycle maintenance costsEnsure the tool availability for the operationsResponsibilitiesIdentify the need for tooling with the Industrialisation teamEvaluate the total cost of the tooling, including studies (specification, design)Analyze the tooling requested and propose the adequate solutionElaborate the specification of requirements for the industrial means and tools necessary to implement the execution activities, in particular relating to infrastructure, tools and capexDesign tools or subcontract themSend documented purchase request, participate in RFQ analysis, and contribute to the business award with SourcingValidate the design through design reviews, involving the above actorsValidate the operations tooling during First Article InspectionOperationFollow‑up implementation of the tooling and first useEnsure tools are available to perform the activities “on time” in a safe environmentBuild CAPEX ROI when neededPerform operating procedure when needed to use itSpecify inspection operations, handling and maintenance instructionWrite periodic inspection sheetsManage calibration reviewEducational RequirementsTechnical education: electronics, automationDesired Knowledge / ExperienceExperience of working in a Service Site or Production environmentKnowledge and understanding of our customersLanguages: Country languageManufacturing or maintenance background with 5 years’ experience preferably in the railway industryTechnical experience of process & manufacturing engineeringGood practice of LabVIEW, C++ and schematic drawingsWorking knowledge in quality, EHS standards and ergonomicsConscientious, commits and deliversSelf‑motivationLogical and organizedGood communicationAn agile, inclusive and responsible culture is the foundation of our company where diverse people are offered excellent opportunities to grow, learn and advance their careers.
