This role has regular interaction with senior leadership and stakeholders across Amazon and requires good verbal and written communication skills. The candidate will need to be capable of operating with a high degree of autonomy and hence needs to demonstrate a high degree of comfort with ambiguity besides holding a high bar on performance. The candidate will need to have a proven track record for hiring, developing and retaining the best talent.Key job responsibilities Learn and stay current with technical developments in the field of Automation Technology and including Amazon AI services.Lead a team of highly talented RPA and automation engineers responsible for managing all aspects of mission‑critical systemsPartner with business stakeholder and product managers around automation technology/RPA capability communication/articulation, translate technical jargon and methodologies to business absorb able languageResearch and drive new and innovative AI/ML approachesEnforce a high bar for operational excellence of the team's servicesRecruit high performing team members, and provide them mentorship and coachingEstablish team mechanisms for project planning, product development, engineering excellence, operational excellence, and team building mechanisms.Basic Qualifications 3+ years of program or project management experience3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non‑tech teams experience3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experienceBachelor's degreeKnowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQLExperience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvementsPreferred Qualifications 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience3+ years of driving process improvements experienceExperience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organizationExperience building processes, project management, and schedulesOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
