Ferring+You  As Head of Sales Italy you will lead and inspire the national sales organization to deliver sustainable growth across the company’s therapeutic areas. You willbe responsible forshaping and executing commercial strategies that align with Ferring’s patient-centered mission and long-term vision. Directly reporting to the General ManagerItalythe Head of Sales need todefine, implement, andmonitorthe commercial strategy and sales plans for Ferring Italy, ensuring business growth, profitability, and market share expansion across all therapeutic areas and channels (prescription and retail). Youwillresponsible for the entire Ferring pharmaceutical portfolio in Italy, across the following therapeutic areas: Fertility Gynecology Urology / Pediatrics Gastroenterology Specialty and Prescription Medicines Your day at Ferring  In this key leadership role, you willbe responsible forguiding the national sales organization and ensuring the successful execution of Ferring’s commercial strategy across all therapeutic areas. Your daily activities will combine strategic planning, team leadership, and strong cross-functional collaboration to achieve sustainable growth and operational excellence. Develop,defineand execute the national Sales Strategy aligned withFerring’s businessobjectivesand brand priorities. Develop and implement short- and long-term sales plans, including budget definition, performance monitoring, and control. Manage the Sales Budget (BUC) and ensure efficient allocation of resources across brands, channels, and regions. Lead, coach, and develop the Sales Team (3 Area Managers) to ensure performance excellence and strong field execution. Design and implement incentive plans to drive motivation and achievement of targets. Develop andmaintainstrong relationships with: Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and prescribers in relevant therapeutic areas Main Italian Wholesalers (WHS) andleading pharmacy chains Key retail partners andpharmacy networks Monitor national and regional sales performance, competitive dynamics, and market trends. Oversee implementation of SFE (Sales Force Effectiveness) processes including call plans, segmentation, and targeting. Support the introduction and launch of new products in collaboration with marketing and market access teams. Ensure compliance with pricing, distribution, and promotional policies. Identifybusiness developmentopportunitiesleveraging Ferring’s portfolio and customer synergies. Collaborate closely with Market Access to ensureoptimalaccess strategies across Italian regions, understanding local reimbursement and procurement dynamics. Represent Ferring at major congresses, scientific events, and industry meetings. Behind our innovation…There’s you  Minimum 8 years of experience within pharmaceutical sector, with a proven record of leadership and commercial success. Experience leading managers or national sales teams within a matrix organization. Demonstrated experience across specialtyprescription, pharmacy/OTC, and hospital channels. Proventrack recordin pharmaceutical marketing, product launches, and sales force effectiveness. Strong understanding of the Italian retail and pharmacy market, including: Established network with key wholesalers (WHS) and leading pharmacy chains. Deep knowledge of hospital purchasing processes and regional market access pathways.
