This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the most strategic, impactful, and fastest growing areas within Amazon.The Manager FinOps AP will be responsible for service delivery of our Accounts Payable / Receivable functions for a specific geo / country and will partner with a diverse set of stakeholders within the Finance Shared Service Organization as well as the business. A key responsibility will be to deliver existing services at a high degree of accuracy, timeliness and controllership, besides supporting the growth in business.This role requires one to be a self‑starter with strong business modeling skills, keen attention to detail and good track record of collaborating with diverse stakeholders. This role has regular interaction with senior leadership and stakeholders across Amazon and requires strong verbal and written communication skills. The candidate will need to be capable of operating with a high degree of autonomy and hence needs to demonstrate a high degree of comfort with ambiguity besides holding a high bar on performance. The candidate will need to have a proven track record for hiring, developing and retaining the best talent.Key Job ResponsibilitiesPerform autonomously, initiate and manage complex, departmental and cross‑company work.Manage group workload and establish priorities.Set and improve policies and procedures, maintaining full compliance, implementing best practices.Serve as a consultant or lead on projects and areas of finance or support of a business.Act as an escalation point resolving complex outstanding issues with internal and external business partners.Significantly participate in recruiting efforts and continually raise the bar.Play a significant role in career development of the team.Drive execution of vision and goals for the team.Develop and communicate team or department vision and goals.Basic Qualifications6+ years of Accounts Receivable or Accounts Payable experience.5+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience.Exposure to Business Transformation / Transition related projects.Preferred QualificationsExperience creating process improvements with automation and analysis.Prior experience in multinational organizations and/or Business conglomerates.Experience with complex problem solving using Lean / Six Sigma techniques.LocationES, Community of Madrid, MadridAccommodationsOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
