Your Role And Responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to execute commissioning and service work as per work instructions and in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards, and safety guidelines. Each day, you will plan and execute work on a first‑time right approach with customers. You will also showcase your expertise by displaying a clear understanding of sense of urgency and care in your own area of responsibility.Performing field service tasks, identifying technical issues, and performing analysis through remote or on‑site activity in service categories and products. Troubleshooting equipment/process failures, requesting proactive corrective actions, and making recommendations to avoid such issues in the future. Performing or coordinating commissionings, services and diverse engineering activities associated with service projects and contracts. Implementing actions to fully explore all possibilities and eliminate/minimize problems. Preparing or providing input for technical documents such as specifications, procedures, or technical reports. Preparing timesheets, service reports, expense reports and other documents immediately following the work assignment. Proposing to customers ways to optimize their operations or make general improvements. Seeking other opportunities to promote customer satisfaction and foster harmonious business relations. Applying all ABB policies and company ethics.Qualifications For The RoleYou are immersed in service activities dedicated to the Power Generation market. You have >2 years of experience in Excitation Systems troubleshooting, commissioning and service activities. You have advanced problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills. Although most of the projects are in Italy, availability to travel within Europe is required. You have excellent knowledge of the standard protocols used in the industrial market. You have a good sense of urgency to customer needs and good customer relations. You are at ease communicating in Italian and English. Experience with ABB Control Builder will be considered a plus.
