Join to apply for the Engineer - Customer Application Engineering role at Baker HughesAs a Technical Proposals Application Engineer, you will be responsible for:Collaborating closely with the commercial manager and sales team during deals negotiation, focusing on the technical scope preparation.Analyzing technical specifications for tenders and Requests for Quotations, evaluating Scope of Supply and Risk Factors.Defining and preparing comprehensive Scope of Work, optimizing products/units, digital training, advanced engineering, schedule, industrial scheme, and performance calculations.Developing and managing the cost control of all offered services.Identifying and mitigating technical implementation risks, ensuring effective management of technical risk.Engaging relevant functions to address deviations and specific requests, optimizing proposal generation.Contributing to the development and maintenance of ITO processes and tools alongside KS/Services counterparts.To be successful in this role you will:Have a bachelor in technical field from an accredited college or university (Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Background preferred)Have familiarity or interest in Oil & Gas Rotating Equipment and their main principles (Gas Turbines, Centrifugal/Reciprocating Compressors, Steam Turbines, etc.)Have desire to be part of a global organization and play and work in the Energy Transition SpaceBe able to communicate both written and spoken fluently in EnglishBe able to travel with short notice, if requiredHave excellent multitasking and time management skills.Be a team player dedicated to the company’s success.Have excellent communication and coordination abilities.About UsWe are an energy technology company that provides solutions to energy and industrial customers worldwide.
