OverviewR&D Process Development Chemist - Italy (Mortara - PV)Process Development Team is a bridge between R&D and Operations: its aim is to study, test and develop processes for safe and efficient scale-up of new products implementing consistent and optimized operations.We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate industrial chemist ready to work as a change agent and introduce and improve new workflows and procedures. Someone who is able to work on challenging and rewarding projects on chemistry as well as on processability, from kilo-lab scale to manufacturing scale.If this picture fits your profile, maybe you’re the one we’re looking for Come and join IGMWhat are you going to do?Your main focus is managing the scale-up of new synthesis processes, making laboratory techniques and procedures more production-like processes, identifying the most suitable operating procedures, equipment and kilo-lab pilot plant configurations for a smooth, safe and fast scale-up of new processes.You’ll be working with R&D Chemists and the Production Team to consolidate and develop scalable chemical processes by identifying critical processing steps and parameters, being fully aware of the limitations of the plant equipment, supporting the conceptual design of new investment projects, while working closely with safety team to ensure safe
