Job Title: European Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Reports To: Global CFO Our client is a fast-growing and dynamic automotive company entering an exciting phase of international expansion. With a strong focus on innovation, sustainability, and operational excellence, the company is scaling its presence across key European markets. The European CFO will play a pivotal role in driving the company’s financial strategy and operational execution across Europe. This is a highly strategic yet hands-on leadership role, responsible for leading finance teams in multiple European countries (including the UK), ensuring sound financial governance, and supporting the company’s rapid growth and transformation journey. Serve as a strategic business partner to the Global CFO and European leadership team, contributing to regional strategy and business decision-making. Oversee all financial operations across Europe, including budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and analysis, accounting, tax, treasury, and compliance. Establish strong financial governance, internal controls, and reporting standards across all European entities. Lead, mentor, and develop finance teams across multiple countries, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Support M&A, integration, and investment activities as part of the company’s expansion strategy. Proven experience as a CFO, Finance Director, or senior finance leader within the automotive industry (OEM, Tier 1 supplier, or mobility sector). Strong financial management background in a multinational environment with multi-country exposure (Europe-wide scope preferred). Strong knowledge of European accounting standards, tax, and compliance regulations. Fluent in English; Italian or other European languages are an advantage. Strategic thinker with strong analytical and commercial acumen.
