Where we need you: Job Title: Transport PlannerDepartment: Plan & Deliver CoEDedication: Full timeLocation: Lainate, Via Clerici Ensures timely, cost-effective, and reliable transportation of goods across the Europe. Translates supply plans into efficient transport execution while collaborating closely with warehouses, carriers, and customer service teams. Your core responsibilities at a glance: Plan and schedule transportation activities in line with supply and delivery requirements. Coordinate with 3PLs, carriers, customs brokers, and warehouses to ensure on-time delivery of goods. Optimize transport routes, loads, and cost while maintaining high service levels. Monitor transport performance and resolve exceptions or delays proactively. Ensure accurate documentation and compliance including creation of export/import instructions as needed per country-specific flows. Collaborate with Supply Planning, Customer Service, and Logistics teams to ensure alignment. Contribute to transport-related projects and process improvement initiatives. The ideal recipe for our new Transport Planner: Required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent working experience in Customer Service, Logistics, or Supply Chain. 3+ years of experience Proficiency in English T ransport Management Systems (TMS), e.g., SAP TM, Oracle Transport Management Excel and transport tracking tools Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Problem-solver with a proactive mindset. Able to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities. Solid understanding of European transport operations and incoterms. Familiarity with shipment documentation and compliance, including export declarations, T1/T2 documentation, CMRs, and packing lists. Knowledge of transport cost structures and carrier performance metrics.
