With the scale of our 2500 marketing community - alongside our leading-edge Marketing Academy - your opportunities to grow and upskill will be extensive.About the role The Trading Lead plays a pivotal role in overseeing our digital media trading operations across campaign activation planning & buying in-platform. As the senior lead in-market, you will be responsible for ensuring that all campaigns activated in-platform follow Reckitt’s media governance processes & agreed ways of working.Acting as the in-market point of escalation for Italy & Greece Consumer Engagement team – the Trading Lead helps to facilitate the resolution of performance concerns, handling queries, improving team processes & managing expectations in-market to ensure key deliverables are met. You will be responsible for managing the overall workload of the team, helping to assign campaigns to digital traders & identifying where additional resources will be needed to support.Your responsibilitiesOversee the planning & execution of digital media buying across the Brand PodsBe the in-market escalation point for Consumer Engagement team – assisting in managing expectations & enforcing the agreed scope/deliverables of the teamOperationalize & scale channel best practices developed by the Digital Media ManagersPromote a unified approach to campaign planning, activation & optimizationEnsure all media trading activities comply with industry regulations & ethical standardsManage the team quarterly finance cross-charges and handle ongoing invoice queriesPromote key campaign learnings, presenting media case studies to the wider teamDeploy key Reckitt tools & Global DDM Programs across the AMS campaign workflowAssign campaigns to the Digital Associates to activate in-platform, helping to coordinate & distribute workload across the teamFoster a collaborative environment, encouraging innovation & continuous improvementConduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedbackSupport the Head of Trading in the standup and ongoing improvement of the model.The experience we're looking forBachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or a related fieldMinimum of 6 years’ experience in digital media buying/planning, with at least 2 years in a leadership roleStrong understanding of the digital media ecosystem & operating biddable platformsExperience working & presenting to senior stakeholdersProven track record of managing teams & delivering business resultsHaving worked on key projects/tasks that involved developing, implementing & scaling process improvements across media workflowsKey Skills:Outstanding communication and interpersonal skillsHighly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks & team workloadAbility to problem solve & lead through times of ambiguityWillingness to take ownership, drive accountability across the teamFostering a collaborative environment for the team to contribute new ideasRemaining hyper focused & guiding the team on meeting their key deliverablesAbility to manage-up, set realistic expectations & hold each team member accountableHighly resourceful individual who seeks out support & can anticipate future problemsCan-do attitude that offers solutions to problems with clear & concise actionsGood proficiency in using Excel & PowerPointWhat we offer With inclusion at the heart of everything we do, working alongside our four global Employee Resource Groups, we support our people at every step of their career journey, helping them to succeed in their own individual way.
