Our Operations team works closely with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to deliver solutions to our customers.Key responsibilitiesLead a team of technicians and associates to execute daily manufacturing operations in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), quality standards, and safety guidelines.Act as the primary point of contact for real‑time process issues; troubleshoot and elevate when necessary.Plan, assign, and prioritize tasks to meet production goals and schedule adherence, ensuring effective shift handoffs and end‑of‑shift reporting.Provide direct coaching and training to team members, contributing to onboarding and ongoing skills development. Develop and implement training plans within your department.Maintain and update training documents and visual work instructions; validate SOP effectiveness and drive updates when deviations are identified.Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives (e.g., 6S, safety, Kaizen), using data collection and root cause analysis to drive results.Review team output for quality and adherence to production specifications; ensure metrics are met across individual and team performance.Facilitate daily stand‑up meetings and ensure alignment with cross‑functional teams to support shift readiness and performance.Foster a culture of safety by modeling best practices, escalating hazards, and ensuring compliance with site safety protocols.Support strategic initiatives and continuous improvement projects within the manufacturing team.A day in the lifeAmazon offers a full range of benefits for you and eligible family members, including domestic partners and their children. The base pay for this position ranges from $61,100 / year in our lowest geographic market up to $100,800 / year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
