Our team in Milan is growing and we are looking for an experienced Project Engineer with a focus in Protection for transmission/distribution utility projects and customers. As a Project Engineer - Protection, a typical day might include the following:Designing power system protection solutions for customers Commissioning projects in the field Development of relay/controller settings and testing Preparation of functional design documentation Working as a technical lead alongside Project Managers and other Engineers from other focus areasThis job might be for you if:You have a degree in Electrical Engineering or related field that has equipped you with strong foundational knowledge You have at least 5 years of experience working with protection systems relays doing programming, settings, testing, and commissioning You understand and have experience with power system studies You have power system/substation protection experience You are willing to travel up to 50% (more typically 25%) You are fluent in Italian and English (other European languages are preferred)Competitive pay.
