Technical and Sales Support Engineer Ref: AJ46636A leading company in the water treatment and environmental technology sector is seeking a Technical Sales Support Engineer to play a key role in technical and commercial support. The position is based at the Italian branch office in Bolzano, but the selected candidate will be fully engaged in the company’s international operations, working closely with the head office in London.Contract Type: Full-time, permanentSalary: Negotiable, depending on experienceWorking Hours: Monday to FridayStart Date: ASAPLocation: Italian branch office in Bolzano, hybrid flexibility possibleTravel: Mainly to client sites in Italy and within the EU regionsMain ResponsibilitiesConduct preliminary analysis and technical feasibility studiesDesign and size MBR (Membrane Bioreactor) plantsCoordinate and support external design studiosAnalyse competitors and develop competitive technical solutionsSupport project development in collaboration with customersDeliver technical workshops and tailored customer presentationsAssist the Regional Manager in commercial network developmentPerform on-site inspections and technical field visitsThe role includes initial technical training at the company’s London office and at the headquarters in Japan (Tokyo / Osaka)Ideal CandidateBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering or a related fieldMinimum 3 years of project design and management experience in the water treatment sector, preferably with MBR technology knowledgeStrong technical analysis and feasibility study skillsExperience in customer relationship management and project developmentExcellent problem-solving skills and field assessment capabilityFluency in Italian and English (spoken and written)Spanish or German is a plusAbility to work independently and remotelyStrong communication and interpersonal skillsCareer Opportunities: Career development is available in both technical and sales fields, depending on personal skills and interests.
