If you want to grow and develop as a part of a team that is shaping an industry, then we’re looking for the best to join us.Working At Dentsply Sirona You Are Able ToDevelop faster- with our commitment to the best professional development.Perform better- as part of a high-performance, empowering culture.Shape an industry- with a market leader that continues to drive innovation.Make a difference-by helping improve oral health worldwide.For Zhermack, production site located in Badia Polesine (RO) we are seeking an:R&D Manager Industrial and WellbeingWho will lead the development and innovation of new or existing products, ensuring alignment with company strategy, adherence to budget and timelines, and achievement of technical standards.Key Responsibilities Innovation and Product DevelopmentParticipate to the drafting of the strategy for its areaLead the development of new products or the enhancement of existing ones by promoting innovation and creative problem-solving within the team.Use databases for patents and technical literature or commissions research to find technical information useful for developing new productsEnsure that R&D initiatives align with market trends, customer needs, and the company’s strategic goals.Collaborate with the product development team to create prototypes, run trials, and optimize products before commercialization.Project ManagementCoordinate the activities on own area to achieves corporate target and KPIOversee the planning, execution, and completion of R&D projects, ensuring that timelines, budgets, and objectives are met.Manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and budget, to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.Work closely with cross-functional teams, such as marketing, operations, and production, to ensure the smooth transition of products from development to market.Team Leadership and MentoringLead, mentor, and support the R&D team, promoting a culture of innovation, collaboration, and high performance.Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify opportunities for professional development.Encourage continuous learning and stay updated with the latest scientific and technological advancements to ensure the team operates at the cutting edge of the industry.Collaboration and ComunicationCollaborate with other departments, including marketing, sales, and manufacturing, to ensure that R&D efforts are aligned with business needs and market demand.Communicate the progress, challenges, and outcomes of R&D projects to senior management, providing regular updates and recommendations for future actions.Manage relationships with external partners, including universities, research institutions, and suppliers, to foster collaboration and access new technologies or knowledge.Regulatory and ComplianceEnsure that all R&D activities comply with relevant industry regulations, quality standards, and safety protocols.Elaborate the documents necessary to support MKT and QA/RA activities, collaborates in defining MP specificationsOversee the proper documentation of research activities, including patents, product certifications, and technical reports, to protect intellectual property and ensure regulatory compliance.Essential RequirementsMaster’s degree or PhD in a scientific or technical discipline (e.g., chemistry, chemical engineering)Over 6 years’ experience in NPD/Innovation within the MedTech sector (minimum 2 product launches and co-inventor of at least 3 patents)Strong skills in leadership, project management, technical problem-solving and communicationDentsply Sirona is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
